Parks and Rec is one of the funniest shows on tv and season six is no different! The cast is incredible and continues to grow off of each other throughout this season. Definitely recommended!

How refreshing to watch a comedy that really IS a comedy! I'm sure you know what I mean...you need a little comic relief so you rent a movie categorized as "comedy" or tune into a sitcom which promises laughter and each may earn a lackadaisical "haha" or "heh" but no laugh out loud, no laugh til you snort. Why is it that the "medicine" we need most (laughter) is so hard to find? We have 'high drama' a plenty, 'horror' out of our ears but comedy? It's a desert out there. So when a friend recommended Parks and Recreation I was skeptical. I like smart humor, character humor, and humor that does not demean anyone, but allows us to look at our own disfunctional selves more lightly. Ellen Degeneres humor. Parks and Recreation made me laugh out loud... a lot. I love every character and his or her quirkiness. Well, done, P&R Crew!

One of the greatest shows ever! I found season 6 to be an improvement over season 5. Writing out Chris and 'the nurse' was an improvement because it freed up time for more of the exisiting supporting cast. Ann was always kinda the 'straight man' type character and they never seemed to really get the most out of Rob Lowe.

IMO, both the hour long season 5 premiere and finale rank among the shows best episodes!

I binge watched this whole series in time for it to end. WHAT??? That's messed up. I started watching this on the advice of a friend because we both are in love with Chris Pratt and I've always watched Amy P on SNL. I ended up truly caring for all these characters and will miss them now that they are gone. Funny and entertaining.

Parks and Recreation is without a doubt one of the funniest shows I've ever watched. It's the perfect combination of clever writing, a well-thought out, evolving story line, and great actors. The character development throughout the series is very impressive. There were several characters that I either didn't care for or had no feelings for in the beginning- however, by this season I love them all. The plot of the sixth season is by far my favorite. Leslie and many other characters are faced with life-changing decisions and I thought that brought a lot of emotion and humor to the show. I think that the direction that the writers took with Leslie and her family/career will make for an amazing final season.

Need I say more? Oh wait, Amazon says I do. I'm so glad that NBC has been willing to air smart comedies for so long (30 Rock and Community are two of my other favorites). I am sad that this is probably the last season of P&R, though I think it will go out strong and consistently hilarious.
