Winnifred or Winnie, as most know her by, is an artist, writer, and author of her debut novel: The Gods’ Scion: Child of Tempus. As a military child, Winnie has traveled extensively around the US East Coast and Germany, learning about the history, lore, and culture of each region. Winnie has spent the last two years writing and expanding the world of The Gods’ Scion trilogy series. Winnie has had a lifelong love of literature and art. As a new writer she wants to create beautiful fantasy world with compelling and intriguing characters. Winnie resides in South Carolina and is an undergraduate at the College of Charleston. She loves to spread positivity and joy to those around her, and look at the world through a glittery pink lens.

The Lone Star Child (The Gods' Scion Book 3 ) by Winnifred Tataw what a wonderful read. The story line is solid. I would recommend you read the first two volumes to be abe to follow along the best, but you can read it as a stand alone. This book was intriguing, it kept my attention throughout the entire book, there are several surprised along the way. Winnefred Tataw is a gifted author. I would grab this series as soon as possible, be a great read to take to the beach or read in a cool corner! I gave this honest, voluntary review after being given a free copy of the book with no monetary compensation

Who is Caro?

This book is a third in a series which I haven't had the pleasure of reading the rest of the books for this series. I enjoyed the storyline and the search for the missing acquaintance. It is all about the relationship in this story and missing out in some cases or developing others.

In this story, you meet three acolytes and Milky who happens to be in search of her missing acolyte who is believed to be in danger. The story follows Rodrick , one of the acolytes who leads the charge in trying to find Caro the missing acolyte. The other acolytes begin to realize they know like go nothing about search other and her disapperance makes them question the reasoning. Rodrick, is also learning how to develop relationships closer to home with his mother and in meeting his girlfriends family. His girlfriend's family has the ability to help with quest of finding Caro. Caro is kept in a star that doesn't have the best intentions for her. As the story develops, you learn that Milky is leaving out key information into finding Caro.

Not Your Average Fantasy Story More Than You Could Ever Imagine!!!!

Winnie Tataw is simply brilliant. In this mythological space fantasy her characters not only are extremely engaging but also very relatable. There's star-hopping, fantasy, and many other super powers. The added mix of family drama was the perfect blend of exciting spectical that kept her story interesting. Winnie's story does not disappoint. It is rather captivating, fast moving and thrilling. Tataw shined with exceptional story telling, unbelievable action scenes and intelligent dialogue. Fantasy is not my usually preferred genre of reading but the Lone Star Child was way more than that. It is compelling, riveting and Winnie Tataw has just done seemingly the impossible; she's made a hard core classic literature lover hop genres to that of Fantasy. I absolutely loved her work and highly recommend this story to anyone needing a break from your usual reading. Well worth the trip.

interesting combo of subjects. A bit of myth, a bit of family, I did not know it was book three so I was kind of lost. Wish that had been somewhere on the info or blurb so I could have not read it until I read 1 and 2.

This is the 1st book I've read written by Winnifred Tataw; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
