This book is a third in a series which I haven't had the pleasure of reading the rest of the books for this series. I enjoyed the storyline and the search for the missing acquaintance. It is all about the relationship in this story and missing out in some cases or developing others.
In this story, you meet three acolytes and Milky who happens to be in search of her missing acolyte who is believed to be in danger. The story follows Rodrick , one of the acolytes who leads the charge in trying to find Caro the missing acolyte. The other acolytes begin to realize they know like go nothing about search other and her disapperance makes them question the reasoning. Rodrick, is also learning how to develop relationships closer to home with his mother and in meeting his girlfriends family. His girlfriend's family has the ability to help with quest of finding Caro. Caro is kept in a star that doesn't have the best intentions for her. As the story develops, you learn that Milky is leaving out key information into finding Caro.
