THE DIAMONDBACK RANCH SERIES
by Anne Marie Novark
Book One: The Doctor Wears a Stetson
Book Two: The Cowboy's Surrender
Book Three: A Match Made in Texas
Book Four: Lone Star Heartbreaker
Book Five: The Cowgirl's Secret
Lone Star Heartbreaker is the fourth book in my Diamondback Ranch Series featuring the four McCade brothers--Dallas, Cameron, Austin, and Tyler--and their sister, Tori. I set the books in the rugged ranch land of the Texas Panhandle where I visited my grandparents on their farm every summer as a kid growing up. They're gone now, but the memories live on.
Remember: Life's too short NOT to love a Texan!

The 2and book was, The Cowboy's Surrender . It was about a gruff cowboy that was mad because his sister in law had leased the mineral rights to his ranch. A company started drilling. He had a fierce attraction to Gillian who was over the drilling operation.
Book 3, A Match Made In Texas, really touched my heart. Kelsey wanted a mom. Her mom died when she was born. Kelsey who is 12 plays matchmaker attempting to make her dad fall in love with her favorite teacher. The end of the book had a plane crash holding my breath, hoping everyone would be okay.
Book 4 Lone Star Heartbreaker - Tyler McCade had always loved to fly. he runs a small crop dusting business. He is also known as the love'em and leave'em kind of guy. He loves to flirt, and date. Now his life has taking a nose dive. He was in a plane crash in the last book. this book picks up with Tyler recovering. He is in a lot of pain, and having to go to physical therapy several times a week. He hires Caitlyn as a pilot. the attraction between Tyler, and Caitlyn was instant. This book was about Caitlyn helping Tyler recover both physical, and mentally from the crash. Tyler falls hard for Caitlyn. Can he convince her, that his love is real. I love all the characters coming together in this book. The Mc Cade family is just a delight. This series was fun to read.
I'm a huge fan of Anne Novark's writing and the Diamondback Ranch series is definitely my favorite although I love the Stone Creek series too!
Trust me this is a great book and a wonderful read...enjoy!
I'll be anxiously waiting for Tori's story next...please don't make me wait too long!!
That is until Caitlyn Ross applied for the job.
Caitlyn Ross lives to fly planes. She was taught how to fly at very early age, by her father, a retired Air Force Captain. He had his own business teaching flying lessons and he'd also competed in acrobatic events, too. After her father's death she goes through his company's books, only to find that things looked bleak and she knew she couldn't save his business, not matter how she tried. After selling off what ever she was able to, in order to pay the outstanding debits, the only things she was left with was a beat up old truck, a scooter, an old travel trailer, and her father's un-restored vintage plane. Plus she still owed a bundle of money, so she had to find a job in order to pay down the rest of the outstanding bills.
Getting the job as pilot for Lone Star Wings, seems like a dream come true for her. Flying is the only thing she has ever known, and it's also the thing she loves the most. So she packs up her dog and everything else she still owns, and Heads for the McCade air field. When she gets there she finds a brooding Tyler McCade. The sparks fly, but she's not about to act upon her strong attraction towards him, or any other man for that fact. She'd already been burn by her recent ex-fiance, who walked out on her when he realized she wouldn't be inheriting a bundle after her father's death, like he thought she would.
She didn't mind helping him out with the business, or his re-hab process, but when it came to personal matters her defenses went on high alert. What scared her even more was the fact that his close nit family was fast becoming like her own. They had all immediately accepted her as one of their own family members, and that scared her more than anything else ever did. Growing up a military brat, she had learned early not to get too attached to anyone, or anything. It only brought on heartache when you had to leave again. She had no family left, and she'd never made any friends along the way either. BUT.... She had always yearned to belong to a big loving family like the McCades. She just never thought it would ever happen to someone like her.
She can't deny the the love or the sexual tensions she feels for Tyler, but she still had the strong fear of being hurt again. Will she stay and see where this relationship goes, or will she pack up and move on again, before heart gets in any deeper? Can Tyler find a way to convince her to stay forever, or will he lose the one and only woman he's ever dared to love?
Would I recommend this book? Yes, and I'd also recommend all the rest of the books in this series, too!
