Not BSW, false advertisement from pictures!!

These boxes are BCW, like the listing pictures show. The boxes come together weird and are not secure with this “tab” system design, will have to tape to stay in place. Keeping only because I cannot wait for days for a replacement shipment. Do not buy if expecting BCW and sturdy, these come apart as soon as you pick them up by handle holes as the securing tabs easily pop out of the slots.

I have a comic collection of over 3000 comics that I started collecting in the early 1980s and I’ve been keeping them in the same acid free boxes, very similar, for the past 40 years. Well lo and behold when I took them down from the attic it’s clear that it was time for new ones these fit the bill. Not too pricey so as to break the bank and easy to assemble, I appreciated that the design hasn’t really changed too much in 40 years, which is exactly what I was looking for to store my valuable comics inside new boxes I don’t have more comics left but if I did, I would definitely buy more of these boxes. Recommend it.

I am not sure if these boxes are as good as the ones I have from 30+ years ago and cost a heck of a lot more now. Hard to find these due to the lack of comic stores. I have been using other boxes and sometimes find boxes that are the exact right size. However, I need to get ones that are more uniform so I can stack them better.

Set was wrapped in cellophane\plastic wrap. And that is how it was shipped.. Did not look like a pre-packaged bundle. No apparent damage and all pieces were there.

When assembling, the 5 I had were not uniformly cut and only one of them was nice as squared off. The others not so much and one had a big gap.

Seem pretty decently sturdy. However, I added tape to 4 of them because of the way they were. One I added tape on the edge where it is glued because without comics in it it already seem like it could come apart.

With computers\automation you would thinks things would be more precise.

Overall seem decent. I am going to try the other brand here on Amazon next. As of right now those are $11ish dollars cheaper.

I wish they would come with some section separators for these prices ;)

We will see how they compare.
