These little guys are perfect for blending my powdered colors and clays with oils when making soap. They don't do well in a dishwasher, but for a dozen at such a good price, I'm not worried about it. I will say after several passes through the dishwasher they aren't rusting - they have just become discolored with white spots. Oh well, I will buy more if needed, but so far I have only used 4 and I just keep washing and reusing the same 4, so this purchase should last me quite a while!

These are perfectly adorable as miniatures and seem nicely made. I have had similar ones in the past that look great and function beautifully when new but some rust more quickly than others. Some have lasted several years and some less than 1 - 1 1/2. They all look adorable when new, though!
Depends upon one's purpose -- these would be outstanding as ornaments or part of gift wrap but may be more vulnerable if used to make acidic foods, like some salad dressings.

Okay, I admit these darling little whisks are pretty small but a dozen was not expensive and they work just fine for small jobs like whisking an egg or stirring hot cocoa mix in the cup. I should have ordered larger ones however. Larger than 5 inches but not full size.

I was glad to find this set of whisks all in the size I really wanted. I've gone through several mini-whisks like this, which I'd gotten at a dollar store. They all eventually got bent or rusty, but until recently have been easy to replace. Not anymore! Now I have a nice supply to last several years.

OK, why would you want a whisk this small? Smoothing out a condensed soup and water mixture. Making a small bit of salad dressing for one or two people. Mixing cornstarch and water in a measuring cup, for thickening sauces. Making a white sauce from scratch, or gravy or sauce from a powdered mix. I've really missed having one of these in the kitchen, and used one of them just today.
