Platform For Display: PlayStation VitaEdition: The Longest 5 MinutesVerified Purchase

This is just the PS Vita game. I thought that choosing the platform as Nintendo Switch would be a Nintendo Switch game.
Don't buy unless you need PS Vita game.

Edit : I contacted Amazon about issue, and I was told that they would send Nintendo Switch game, but I received another Vita copy. My guess is that there's a disconnect because of how this item is named with "PlayStation Vita" in the title and the actual platform choice isn't carrying over.

Edit again: I'm changing my rating because it appears that the page has been changed to fix the problem I had. Now when you choose Nintendo Switch version, the name of the item updates. Unfortunately this changed my purchase platform to Vita. I'll be attempting to purchase again and will provide a new review once I receive the item.

Graphics and design: 6
Visually this game is decent at best – it’s clearly trying to bring back the 8bit style but could have used more detail. Everything is very flat and straight. The environments and characters all feel very similar, making it hard to differentiate things.
Sound and music: 7
The soundtrack is good, but nothing really that memorable. No voice acting and very little sound effects.
Game play and controls: 6
The game play is boring and too easy. The analog stick poorly controls the characters movement since it is a 2D game.
Story: 6
This is a short game that still manages to throw in filler dialog, by the end I could hardly even read the text because it was getting really boring. There are some good moments and ideas in the game, but they are few and far between.
Conclusion and fun factor: 6
This is a classic case of “what could have been.” Had the combat and challenge been tweaked a little, the dialog whittled down and maybe used a 16 bit style rather 8bit style, this could have been something special.
Total score: 6.2 out of 10.

This is just a quirky, fun, little game. Don't go in expecting to play an RPG masterpiece, but just a casual, simple game that gives so warm fuzziness and satiate your RPG craving. It's a tad easy, but it's honestly fine given that the whole feel is light-hearted. It's a unique concept that I had fun with. Glad to have beaten it to 100% completion.
