The writing style is what immediately grabbed me. Mangerchine has a natural ability to tell stories which translates to the pages with apparent ease. He is engaging, like he's sitting in the room with you. It's like having a chat with a friend, which is critically important to his credibility.
His credibility is in his ability to relate to the reader and in his sincere transparency. I connected with him and you will too. Because of that you will also connect to the inspiring testimonies of God's loving intervention throughout the book. I don't think this book can be read without beginning to desire a deeper intimacy, no matter how deep it already is. There is more. The well of God's love is bottomless and Jeremy takes us into it with his testimony.
It's an important book, brilliantly titled, and a must read for those pursuing the heart of God.
I believe this book is prophetic for the heart of prophecy isn't just to draw people to Christ but to draw them closer to Christ and that is the central message of this book. While there are some cool stories about miracles and healings, the book really is about walking with God in a close relationship. I found it refreshing, inspiring, challenging, convicting, humbling, interesting, and very hard to put down.
I give it four stars out of five because I don't agree with every conclustion Mr. Mangerchine came to in his experiences but I'd still highly recommend it.
