Lonna Lisa Williams got her M.A. in English from San Diego State University in California. Her grandparents were university professors, and her uncle and cousin were professional photographers. She worked for 3.5 years as a journalist and photographer at the “Mountain News” in California, where she also taught community college English for several years. She left America in 2010 and taught English in Russia, Turkey, and China. She writes news articles and photo essays for “Digital Journal” and “Yahoo.” She also makes Youtube videos and keeps a Blog. Her motto is that Christ’s light can shine in the darkest places, and that after death comes resurrection. She recently covered the Big Bear Fire 2015, on-the-spot footage of the Summit Fire, flames in the forest that threatened homes in Big Bear.
