So I came across Sebastian after a long week on fail attemps to find something decent to read; I literally started about ten different other books and was about just to give-the-freaking-up and actually get some work down at the office when I gave my kindle one last chance and click this book.
Holy freaking cow! It captivated me since the beginning!

Addiction is a subject quite exploited by authors today, and in my particular case, very close to my heart because for years I watch a member of my family struggle to regain his life and hit rock bottom several times. I liked that the author gave us a Sebastian, human, with flaws and virtues, with heart and soul, but still manage to make him incredible sexy and just plain hot.
Addison comes in not as your typical heroine to rescue our hot male alpha. She's tough, focused, funny, warm but on top of she was as broken as Sebastian is right now, so she really gets it.
Besides focusing on the substance abuse theme, the story has a really nice dose of hot-wet-my-panties sexy scenes and it is all nicely wrap up with a touch of romance and happily ever after ending.

This is book #2 in the series (didn't figure it out until I was way in the middle of it) and I usually like to read my series in order, but I really hated Ava and wanted to slap the lights out of her for hurting Sebastian (LOL) and book #1 is her story..so I guess that until I can forgive her for what she did to Sebastian I am going to stand with Sebastian's point of view on the whole thing...

Sebastian is a soldier we met in the first book in this series. while he was deployed, his pregnant fiance delivered their baby very prematurely. and then fell in love with the doctor. It wasn't right for that to happen to him while he was away fighting for our country. Its no wonder that he was left bitter, angry, heartbroken. he felt worthless. he soon became addicted to heavy drugs and frequent woman to escape his pain. After a while, he realized he didn't know who he was anymore. and even if he didn't have his fiance, he did have his daughter. and she was worth being a better person. he checked himself into rehab. it was there he met Addison.
I was so excited to read Sebastian's story. He deserved a happy life after Ava destroyed him. He had so much trouble moving past his broken heart. you could feel the depth of his pain as you were reading the story. I loved addison. she was just fiesty enough to fit with Sebastian. very emotional and enjoyable read.

I was rooting for Seb in the first book. He was fighting for our country while his fiance was fighting her own demons at home. I do not condone cheating whatsoever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. I couldn't wait for Seb to find his happiness. This book was hard to read as well. Will Seb finally let his heart heal or will it lead to destruction?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. So much pain, sorrow, anguish, anger, hate. Desire only come for those are willing to let go. Freedom only come for those who let go. But first one needs to accept responsibility for one's own actions.
Very well written, I'm so glad Sebastian got his own story.

Oh the feels….This book brings from the darkest of the dark into the light again. It isn’t a easy road for Sebastian after he has his heart shattered… He dives into his old life and it takes him kicking and screaming to into rehab. He soon finds himself alone, hurt and if I’m being honest pissed at the world. He is still in love with Ava and finds comfort in his daughter Lily-Mai. Things are super rough but with the help he gets from Addison, his counselor, things are starting to look up. Addison, is the becon of light that he needs but can’t exactly see at the moment. He is so blinded by his love for another woman that he only agrees to be friends at first with Addison. Things move progressively fast and soon he finds himself falling for her. He just can’t shake his feelings and Addison has to move on… Sebastian, being the fighter he is, has some major hurdles to jump in order to prove himself again. It’s not smooth sailing by any means for him. I mean, how do you bounce back after having everything you love for 4 years taken from you? He was serving his country thinking everything was great but in reality it wasn’t. My heart seriously broke for Sebastian. I can’t even imagine being in his shoes, it has to feel like your world is crashing down and there’s nothing you can do about it. This book brings out so many emotions….seriously ugly crying, hurt, anger, pain and love. Sebastian had a long road ahead of him but thanks to Addison he was able to overcome it and live his life again. He found happiness, love and the power to heal from the ones who hurt him. Addison was the missing piece of the puzzle that his heart needed and brought the light back into his life. If you can’t tell by now, I absolutely loved this book!!!! I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could!!!

This novel is one of the novels that deserves more than 5 stars!

You meet Sebastian in Look After You. He is a United States soldier, deployed in Afghanistan when his girlfriend, Ava goes into labor and delivers their first baby, thirteen weeks early. Your heart is shattered for him when Ava falls in love with their daughters doctor. But now, Sebastian gets his OWN chance at a happy ending.

Look After Me left me smiling and crying all at once. I said this in my last review for Elena Matthews, but I'll say it again: This author knows how to make you feel all the feels. Sebastian tries to bury his pain in drugs but realizes his daughter deserves better, so he checks himself into rehab. While there, he meets and becomes friends with Addison.

Right away, the subject of drug addiction hit me right in the freaking gut. It made me cry for Sebastian. It made me cry for every person struggling with drug addiction that just wants away from the lifestyle. You are heartbroken for him and he tries to move on from Ava.

Addison, is like a breath of fresh air--not only for Sebastian but for the reader. She is by far one of the most genuine characters I have ever read about. Their friendship quickly turns into "friends with benefits", but before she knows it, Addison is in love with Sebastian. What he doesn't realize is that he is too.

Look After Me is not only a story with a happy ending, it is a story about growing up and overcoming lives biggest hurdles. It's about loving hard and forgiveness. It gives you hope that the world doesn't have to be such a scary place. That if you just open your eyes, greatness can be right in front of you. I would give this novel six stars if I could. Hell, I'd give it ten. Elena Matthews, i'm girl crushin' on you! You are AMAZING!
