From thrift shopping strategies to styling advice and ways to navigate any store like a pro, I believe fashion shouldn’t just be affordable, but also accessible for women of all shapes and lifestyles. And because I’m a naturally thrifty person, I love sharing my tips and tricks with women who share my philosophy that “your style is never determined by your wallet.”

I literally forgot all about purchasing this book years ago. At one time I got Patrice,s newsletter/emails, but kind of decided thrifting for clothes didn’t work for me due to being very top heavy and having to try on everything.

However, I highly recommend this book. I think it’s of more use now than when it was published. With so making working from home and making their living outside a traditional office, you can experiment more with your style and you don’t have the dress code police on your case every day.

For those who don’t know, you can always find things new with tags, something to give as a gift from the accessories, books and sporting goods section or just a cool T-shirt to frame that makes you happy.

I loved this book, it's great for the thrifty shopper. Whether you are a beginner or a pro at it. I am new to the New York area, and I have always wondered where they hide all of these good ole thrift shops. What a cute little book that covers the "system" for thrift store shopping. Yeah, I had no idea there was a system, but after having gone thrifting with my friend who I think is a certified pro at it & after reading this book, I'm convinced you need a plan to be successful. This book covers the in and out as well as the pitfalls & gotchas. I gifted a copy to my thrifty friend & she loved it. It even showed her a thing or two. What was great about Patrice is that she also mentioned others who are blogging or writing about this topic which shows how down to earth she is. The only reason why it is not 5 stars is because it is not a suspense novel :-)
