All I can say is THANK YOU! I bought this loom for my daughter. She has a brain injury and is blind. I have been looking for crafty things to occupy her time, for quite a while, and this is perfect! It has guides at the top and a lever that helps her switch directions. It is easy for her to feel the string guides and tell where the string needs to be, without her sight. It will take some getting used to, with practice, but is perfect for the blind or low vision!! Finally found something different for her to do. I also think this will help with her brain injury. Problem solving, motor skills and strengthening the brain. I like that I can get her attachments to make it longer so she can make blankets or rugs. ❤😁

At first it took a bit to understand how to start weaving because the directions seemed to not explain clearly but I was able to go on YouTube and watch the video. That was a lot clearer.

Product is sturdy and easy to put together. Recommend for anyone who can no longer crochet or knit due to vision or arthritis issues. Great for the elderly!

Great Results on First Weave!

I purchased two of these and produced most of the pictured weaving the night they arrived using three different sized yarns. Both looms came with three extra pegs, so I am not worried about breakage, it took a lot of abuse during this one project and nothing broke. It is amazing concept that makes peg looming so much easier, you just have to remember to turn the handle in between weaves.

I even tried a technique called clasped weft where you bring two different yarns from either side and they meet in the middle. You just have to twist the yarn before putting it into the pegs, and adjust the tension from either side, and you make where they meet in the middle random each time, it comes out really cool.

I recommend this for adults and for children in the recommended age range, probably need some help from a parent for setup and advancing the weave, and finishing.

Greatest thing since sliced bread. I have M.S. and I love to crochet but because my hands don't work the way they used to, I have no way to make clothes for my kids anymore. This item allows me to make things for my house, is not stressful on my hands and they do not get tired. I bought 3. First day out of the box I made a rug for my kitchen. Thank you for this product.

Too much room for errors!!

Well, I've used the (much more expensive) wooden stick looms and then I used these. These are good for small projects, I suppose, and I see on YouTube (one video) where someone put 4 looms together and made a huge rug. Still, coming from experience, there is with this loom too much room for catastrophic errors. I gave it three stars because it can be used and it is somewhat fun but for anyone who really wants to do stick looming, this isn't the way to start. Again, the margin for errors is too great (losing your entire project) and I would think very discouraging!

Stick looming can be VERY rewarding and many projects can be done with a stick loom. I wish this form of creativity had more of a following.

Santa brought this for my 4th grader who loved the Rainbow Loom. Took us less than 10 minutes to set up and figure out with YouTube. She made a coaster that's only slightly wonky but was SO proud! Awesome for her first try!! The process moves quickly too so they can accomplish something in a short period of time without losing focus. Great buy and I spent hours comparing different loom/first knitting/first crochet kits. Didnt want anymore junk that they get frustrated with and it ends up never getting used. Especially, when it could lead to a hobby they enjoy! I forsee us buying more and her making blankets and placemats!!

My 10 year old girl got this for Christmas and has had so much fun with it. She has already made a few projects including a hot pad, barbie blanket, and adorable scarf for herself and now she is making a bag. It is very simple to set up and use. I wish that it came with more instructions to make different things, like the gloves that are pictured. But overall she has enjoyed it so much and wants to get a few more for her upcoming birthday so she can hook them together and make wider projects. Just a little tip: When weaving just be careful not to tighten your strands too much against the sides because it will cause them to bend inwards and your project will start to go skinnier.

I bought this because I wanted an introduction to weaving that wasn't fiddly. I figure if I could do this, I can move onto real weaving later and buy a better loom. It is easy to set up and use. My only problem is the shifting of the pegs. While, the handle does indeed turn them, I don't see where it does anything. I could weave the strands between the pegs and not turn it and get the same result. The warp strands simply turn within the weft, it doesn't shift the weft in any way. I've double checked the instruction booklet, and I am setting it up right, so I don't know if I'm doing something else wrong, or if the turning pegs are just a gimmick to make you think you're doing more than just winding strands between pegs. All in all, I am enjoying the product and it has got me wanting to move onto more intricate weaving.
