"Arabella Sheratonbrings a wealth of joy with this swift seasonal read. Patience Cherwell is suchan endearing heroine, she is everything you would imagine a genteel and kindwoman of her time and upbringing should be. While she could have come across asboring or even uninteresting she doesn't, she is attractive and intriguing, sheis appealing in an understated, classic way. She is the perfect foil to heryoung friend's vibrant beauty and the fact that Lord Blackwood sees her for whoshe is and recognizes her worth makes him a stellar hero. I loved thesupporting characters in this story and the lovely descriptions. This was awhirlwind, fairytale-like story that had me smiling from the start and I'mstill smiling days later. If you're looking for a beautiful break, this is agreat choice." -- Pauline Michael, Night Owl Reviews"The novels of Arabella Sheratonare stunning. Her heroine characters, althoughsometimes grittingly annoying by jumping too soon into conclusions, are verymuch relatable in their strong will. Her heroes are the epitome of femalefantasy, not only in the way their looks are described, but how they love theirwomen so much they'd take a sword in the heart just to protect them."-- Liah, Wattpad reader

From the Author
Thank you for visiting my Amazon book page. I love writing Regency romance and am always glad when a new idea pops into my head for another sparkling, witty romance. The Dangerous Duke, my first romance novel, was written for fun, to entertain my mother who was a huge romance fan, but in particular of Regency romance. From there, more ideas came with more characters clamouring to have their chance to shine in their very own book. When not writing, I try to relax with walking the (always keen) dogs, movies, theatre, travel (when I can afford it), meeting up with friends, and (of course) reading!
I love reading generally so most books spark my interest. I devoured all my mother's historical romances (Jean Plaidy, Georgette Heyer etc.) while at school, but developed a love of classic writers such as the Bronte sisters, Jane Eyre, and George Eliot as well. I adore a good story. I don't care if it has been told before; as long as the author has compelling and interesting characters, it will grab me.
