Also some of the pages have one or two giant logos on them. Also I like how between chapters if you want to call them that are photos. Not sure what they are, but they look to be photos of inspiration ranging from trees and water and very natural type elements. Overall this book is just to awesome to not have if your a fan of Black Metal.
Im a graphic artist and to see all the various logos is inspiration in itself and to have this book on my shelf for reference is awesome. Trust me you wont be disappointed.
Recomendado 100%.
A great collection for fans of graphic design, brand identity and typography.
100% recommended.
On the plus side the content is great. It's easy to underestimate the number of logos within but there's a lot. Like a lot a lot.

Christophe Szpajdel's logo designs are fantastic, and this collection is worth having if you like his style. I leaf through it when I'm not feeling metal or grim enough. One must maintain.
The logos are grouped more or less by their genre, or, more specifically, by photographs of the natural scenes that inspired the calligraphy. In terms of additional notes and words from Christophe Szpajdel, there is none. It's just the art and the photos. At the back of the book there's a helpful index if you're looking for a certain band. It's a good size book, and there are plenty of logos to go through.

As a fan of many of the bands whose logos Szpajdel designed, I had to buy this book and check out the whole spectrum of his work. The range is vast, Szpajdel's creativity astonishing. He's known as The Dark Lord or Lord of the Logos by many folk in the metal underground. These are titles he has earned. Looking through the book, it's difficult not to be astounded at how prolific this artist is in the metal arena.
The book cover is beautiful, as you'd hope from an artist of Szpajdel's calibre: black soft-padded jacket with debossed writing in gilt. Perfect.
If you're a fan of underground metal or nature-based logos, you'll love this book. I do.
