If someone you know has a special relationship with Hobbits and The Lord of the Rings, this would make an excellent gift. It's a bit pricey considering what it is, but it's a collectable item, so I get it. The one I received did have some slight damage to the box, which would probably enrage a real collector, but the recipient didn't care and was very happy with the set.

I got this as a gift for one of my LoTR fan friends. She has watched all the hours of deleted, behind the scenes, promos, previews, etc. from every movie and is super excited about the Hobbit. She got this for her birthday in February and still hasn't opened it (candy collectible?) but loves these little guys just to sit on the shelf.

The box was already opened and the contents taken out. Completely has lost the collector value. Saw these at a Walmart for only $10.00 I didn't buy in store and realized maybe I should have a month later. Bad Mistake. A Wal-Mart shelf took better care of these things than this company. They also placed shipping stickers, bar codes and all sorts of unneeded stickers on the actual box and it was in another box which shipped it. Totally unneeded. Stickers were covering up all the graphics and lettering. I mean seriously you guys. Pull your head out of your butts! I was only able to pull 3 out of 4 stickers off before giving to my sister for her Christmas gift. Her face was just as disappointed as mine when I got it. Completely ruined the gift for her and myself. Can't get that experience back. If I were you I would not order from them unless of course you're planning of giving it to a small toddler whose going to completely destroy the box anyways. Never again from them. NEVER! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I first saw these LOTR Pez guys at a kitschy vintage toy shop in Saugatuck, MI. The owner was asking at least $60 for the entire set, and I thought that was a great deal. Just to be safe, I checked Amazon and found the same exact set for less than $20...
I bought this as a gift for someone who is really into Pez and also is a big Lord of the Rings fan. He seemed pretty excited about it and it's a great gift set. I would recommend this for anyone into pez and or Lord of the Rings.
