About Lori Webb
Lori Webb has always been fascinated with entrepreneurship. Throughout her life she has actively engaged with thousands of entrepreneurs in her capacity as a coach, teacher, trainer, facilitator and speaker. In 2007, Lori looked for a book that accurately represented the diversity of the entrepreneurial types that she had met over the years; one that illustrated the range of the entrepreneurial spirit. This book did not exist, so in 2008 she began her own research into the entrepreneurial spirit.
The originally intended book gathered so much momentum that it has evolved into a series of books. Based on wide-ranging research, the series includes over 400 videotaped interviews with entrepreneurs representing 35 cultures. The subjects vary from ages 14 to 84, startup to seasoned, unknown to celebrity and street vendor to multi-millionaire, illustrating a range of business model constellations.
From 2011-2012, three interviews were transcribed and edited to create three books: “Exceptional Experience”, “Serious Impact”, and “Absolute Commitment”, under The Entrepreneurial Profiles Series. Each went to #1 on Amazon in their respective categories within 24 hours of their release, and more than 6 times throughout their first year. Today, the 12 chapters of the originally intended book, Entrepreneurial Profiles: Around the World & Down the Street, have become individual books in their own right and are currently awaiting release.
Lori was born in New York City, raised in the Midwest, New England, and upstate New York, and completed her undergraduate degree in London. She holds an M.Sc. in Information Technology (Design, Communication & Media) and a B.A. in Theatre & English. She’s lived in Europe (London, Paris and Copenhagen) for the better half of her adult life. She speaks, teaches, coaches and trains on several entrepreneurial related topics such as entrepreneurial mindset, business design, communication, social media, trends, branding and presentation.
She is a Professional Member of the (U.S.) National Speakers Association, Global Federation of Speakers and the Women's Speaker Association, and a member of the Danish Film Academy.

Blog postDon't Quit by John Greenleaf WhittierWhen things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is strange with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many a failure comes about

Blog postI love a good metaphor and today's is one that I have thought about a lot in conjunction with my all time favorite topic, entrepreneurship. As I have spent the last 7 years intensely researching the subject, I have found the most interesting and most lacking information to be surrounding the core of entrepreneurship itself, the entrepreneurial spirit. So, I have looked to religion, in this case, the one in which I was raised, Catholicism, and made some comparisons.
