This book is a game changer to managing one's life, happiness, and to the experience of living. It has vastly improved my quality of life and relationships in the year and a half that I have practiced Dr. Frank Sommer's techniques in his book. The science behind this book is solid and it is written in a very practical way. If this was mental kung-fu, Dr. Sommers' work would be as revolutionary to mental health as Bruce Lee was to martial arts. It is a very simple, effective, practical set of techniques anyone can use with highly effective results. This book will improve the quality of one's life if embraced and practiced regularly. His techniques I hope will improve, as they did for me, the quality of ones relationships with people and your ability to stay present, to appreciate the world around and in front of us. I find that people are more naturally drawn to me and engage me more and the outcome of these interactions are largely positive. Where there are negative interactions, this book helps one to manage these interactions naturally in a positive way.

I recommend this booklet to people that I care about- family and friends, and even people I meet on the street who share with me their personal struggles of life and living. My cousin just started recently reading and applying these techniques and noticed a significant improvement in his personal life and ability to manage stress in just over two weeks of using this book. It is an easy read, and well worth the investment. In all honesty, of all the books I have ever read, Dr. Sommers' "Lose Weight, Stop Stress, and Make Better Love" has been the MOST practical and effective book in improving one's quality of life. And the techniques are refreshingly simple to employ. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to change their life for the better. Battle-tested, Dr. Sommers is the modern day Yoda:)

Finally, a book that provides a comprehensive approach to creating greater passion, desire and satisfaction in relationships. Please don't be fooled by the catchy title. Dr. Sommer is a highly seasoned and skilled professional physician, psychiatrist and sex therapist who has combined his many years of private practice with a solid research foundation. So many of us behave as if our eating patterns and stress levels have nothing to do with our sexual passion. We wonder why our intimate relationships are no longer exciting. Some go on a diet. Some do a form of stress management. Some seek a quick fix through prescription or recreational drugs. Some read about new sexually specific activities. Some seek professional help. But unless we engage our brains, unless we find a way to retrain our habit patterns, any change we do make will be only temporary. This is an important book that has the potential to transform many love relationships.

What a great little treasure. This is an easy to read, practical, to the point book that teaches us how to simultaneously be more aware and at ease, which really do help in all the areas the title promises. The title actually the only thing I don't like about the book. I will be recommending this book to the people I care about.
