Murray is a realist who correctly predicts that despite all the evidence accumulated against current U.S. social welfare policy, no changes in it would be forthcoming. Also predictable from the research noted in this book is the worsened conditions for those who are targets of the policy. And just as he says that the disturbing outcome is no accident, so too does Michael R. Swift in his book, Black Genocide: The Untold Truth about Child Support Enforcement - a book that focuses on a specific aspect of the same problem.

In this book he is spot on...the government enables...no, encourages dependence and destroys initiative.
A very engrossing read which makes for fascinating reading.
Highly recommend when we try to explain the dilemma in which the US finds itself
