A gripping page-turner, written with an easy style, you keep reading to see what happens next. And you're not disappointed. I found the ending a little contrived and somewhat of an anticlimax. The solution to the mystery is unexpected but satisfying. No loose ends wraps a clever mystery.

But oh the irrelevant detail which spoils it. I really cannot see why many modern authors, especially American authors, are so obsessed by detailing what everyone in their books wore, are wearing, or even will wear in the future i get the distinct impression that it is just to fill out the story to a required number of words. Personally it annoys me.
Do not bother.
It had some very cliché phrases straight out of a writers beginners class I thought. A bit disappointing in some places as sometimes the story seemed a bit disjointed .
