Tansy is a witch who can locate missing people. At first she is reluctant to help Drake. After all, they did not part on very good terms. But Drake's sincere desire to find his lost daughter persuades her...she's just not sure if the hard part will be finding Daphne or being around Drake. And when/if they do find her, will they be in time?
I thought this was a very good book; a real page-turner. Drake and Tansy are good together and Daphne and Ruby are great additions to the story. I recommend it.
Drake Evers is a sexy, strong and protective alpha dad looking for his missing daughter and not happy about having to turn to the witch that spurned him years ago for help. Tansy is a sexy, sassy and powerful witch that never expected to see Drake at her door or him asking for help. Loved the chemistry and banter between these two, this is a engaging second chance romance.
The characters were so well developed I felt like I’d known them my whole life. Drake is the epitome of Alpha male. He’s sexy, protective, and stubborn. And though he’s lost on what exactly being a dad means, it’s obvious he loves his daughters. So much so, his desperation for finding his missing daughter, Daphne, leads him to put his personal feelings aside and seek out help from a woman from his past. A witch who’s intelligent, sassy, beautiful, and knows how to keep Drake on his toes. I loved Drake and Tansy. The chemistry between those two sparked off the pages. And their banter had me laughing out loud.
Five stars! From beginning to end!
I love Debbie Herbert's magical creatures. Drake literally breathes fire and smoke, and Tansy is an earth-centered witch in the ancient wise-woman tradition, sweet but capable. I was rooting for these two to find the missing teen and get their happily-ever-after.
Give a dad two teenage twins and he doesn't know what to do. What a dad has to do to find the one woman for him and control and s h ow two daughters that he does love them. What is this poor alpha going to do?
Until Next Time... Tabi
