She tries to close in on the owner of the property, Andrew, to get an inside track on the sale. Upon her first meeting alone with him, he kisses her neck before asking her to dinner. First off, I don't know a single business man who would behave in such a manner during a business meeting, let alone become immediately infatuated with her.
Then she meets Andrew's brother, John, and the story is pretty much the same, except she starts to fall for him as well. The time line of the story is completely unclear- it seems as if Andrew and John both fall for her to the point of fighting over her within a few days, while she's into one and only using the other. The idea that any relationship blooms so quickly in life is just ridiculous. The other facets of the story (such as her broken relationship with her father) are equally strange and unexplained. For so many reasons, this was a painful read. A second book? No thanks...
Cons: The story is relatively short for an eBook, however, this is fine since there are multiple books in the series. There are a few minor spelling and/or grammar mistakes, but this is easily overlooked as it doesn't deter from the overall story, and doesn't take anything away from the book.
Overall: Great read. Fun, interesting story. Intrigued, and can't wait to find out the rest of the story. This first book left off at a great place, and I am excited to find out where the story will go. I have a feeling that it won't go along traditional romance and mystery routes. I've already purchased the next book. Happy Reading, everyone!

Gwynn, our heroine, didn’t come across as a complete character. She was neither likeable nor interesting. It feels like the authors put together a grocery list of things the heroine should be and then tried to wrap it in mystery. I don’t like her. I wouldn’t ever want to be her or one of her friends.
The men were also a tad underdeveloped. Well, let’s face it. They were just good-looking men who made Gwynn’s heart race. Since they formed the love triangle I wish there were more interesting things about them. It would’ve been nice to get a few tidbits that made them more memorable.
What I do appreciate is how the authors painstakingly described things like… the view from the window… the people Gwynn interacts with… what the characters are doing. I just wish they’d spent as much time developing the characters. Also, the transition seemed jerky. The story “tells” the reader what is happening instead of letting the reader “see” the story unfold.

It leaves you hanging. Not something enjoy.
I do not understand why more words are required. I believe I stated my feelings in three words.
