Moore is to be commended for writing clearly and authoritatively on a difficult subject. His insights are revelatory and will deepen anyone's understanding of the show. I highly, highly recommend this book and LOST Humanity for any past, present or future LOST viewers.
So imagine my genuine thrill when in the very first episode, I was privy to a very new kind of TV show, one that engaged multiple senses in a way I'd never experienced before. Here I was thinking it was some cleverly written (but potentially boring) story about a group of people who crashed on an island trying to get back home. I could never have anticipated the ride (and subsequent personal growth and enlightenment) I had unknowingly strapped myself in for.
This ride made all the better thanks in very large part to Nikki Staffords 'Finding Lost' books and Pearson Moore's two works of sheer brilliance. These books have ensured this ride continues despite the show being over for 18 months now. Moore's writings in particular worked on multiple levels. They appealed to my fandom of the show, as well as helped unlock many of the secrets that made me watch the series over and over again, each time discovering something new and re-experiencing it in a multi-dimensional and highly satisfying way - not just about the characters/themes and mythology of LOST, but more importantly (and perhaps fundamentally) about myself.
The world is a better place thanks to the enormous ensemble that put together what is the most remarkable and thought provoking TV show of all time. I (and no doubt many others) now consider Moore a crucial part of the fabric of that large ensemble. I'm not sure there are many greater compliments that can be bestowed upon someone.
If you think you've gotten all you can from watching the tv show, prepare to be blown away by this well researched, well planned and ultimately, hugely rewarding masterpiece.
I loved the analogies and his thought one each and every subject . He did give me a new point of view and i rewatched the show but this time looking at everything from a different angle .
To everyone who posted or lurked on Darkufo Lost Homepage , to everyone who rewatches at least one time a year the show i recomend this book .
