The storyline was great. The characters well developed. The chemistry between Dylan & Summer was hot. Enjoyed all the character's POV.
This book had a whirlwind of emotions; from happiness, sadness, betrayal, angst, family and friendship. There were twists, turns, mystery... I couldn't put it down.
When I started Lost Summer, the story, itself, (even though Dylan and Summer were WAY younger than the characters about which I usually like to read, and they were not just younger, both of them seemed and WERE so innocent in comparison to the characters in MT's other books, it almost felt like a different genre than MT's books are usually considered).....BUT, the story, itself, sucked me right in from the beginning, before I realized I hadn't read any steamy scenes....I've never read a book with this plot, suspense or conclusion before....This book absolutely held my attention, and although there were times I just KNEW what was going on, or what was going to happen, she turned a corner ...and I mean a big corner on us...and it was "I sure didn't see that coming!!!" I don't want to give away any spoilers...but I do want to say, if you want steam, it has some, but you have to read the entire book (and then some) to get it...Thankfully, the book is so good, I enjoyed it without steam all the way through it.....MT Stone...you always surprise us!!!
