I havn't read a non technical book in many years but found the depth into the backgrounds of the characters presented and their interaction on the ship had me captivated. I still find it amazing that I actually finished a romantic novel which certainly is attributed to this author.
I particularly enjoyed the fact that Linda gives each main character, whether hero or villain, sufficient background and depth to engage me as reader. “Lost in the Wake” strikes me as an ideal vacation read – except, perhaps, if you happen to be on a cruise ship!
Constant gripping suspense soon takes over behind the scenes on a magnificent cruise ship where most passengers are unaware and enjoying each planned event. I don't want to give any of it away. It is a fun easy read. Take it on a cruise and you will see your whole vacation with different eyes.
