The Lotos IGBT LTPAC2500 is a FIVE-IN-ONE Digital Plasma Cutter (60A) / AC Tig Welder (250A) / DC Tig Welder (250A) / AC Stick (Or Arc) Pulse Welder (250A) / DC stick (or Arc) Welder (250A) . You would have to purchase 5 separate machines to do what this ONE machine can do! Using this heavy duty 60A plasma cutter is cheaper than Oxyacetylene after just a few cuts. Torch head is low profile for tight spaces. High Frequency IGBT DC Plasma cuts thicker materials than standard DC plasma cutters and cuts faster with less distortion in the work piece.
It's packed with full features like the separate machines. Both the AC and DC Tig welds from this LTPAC2500 are clean and strong for both Aluminum and Stainless Steels. This Tig welder is easier to use than any other Tig welder on the planet! Just flip a switch, set your amperage and weld...It's that simple. The footpedal comes with LTPAC2500, customer can dynamically control welding heat by this heavy duty footpedal. This machine will weld ANY kind of metal, including ALUMINUM, Steel, Stainless Steel, Moly, Ferrous etc. An ARC welder with PULSE feature is a necessity in any industrial shop or home workshop. There are welding jobs that simply require ARC or SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding). Fill large gaps, holes, weld cast iron and weld extra thick steel with stick. With Arc welding, no shielding gas is required. In many ways stick arc welding is like MIG except there is no wire feed. ARC welding does not require any gas supply. With this LTPAC2500, you can ARC weld any kind of Metal, including ALUMINUM, Steel, Stainless Steel, Moly, Ferrous etc.
For tig welding
For aluminum cutting
package comes with extra 14 pcs plasma cutter consumables.

At first, I thought that the quality was low because the input power wires are small (12g I think), but at max capacity this thing should only be drawing about 20A so it is okay. The ground clamp and cable are okay and probably enough for most uses, but I am wary of 250A when I get to that some day.
The manual is terrible as it is short, multi purpose, and focused on other models. In fact, the design for this model must have changed since the manual was made. It has taken me a good bit of time fiddling with the machine, reading online, and watching videos to understand the controls and which ones work in which mode.
Mine came with a WP-17 TIG torch (same as my HD-300 and HF machine), which seems to be a pretty standard and common torch. The torch seems good except the line has a plastic/rubber casing that cannot handle heat! I accidentally left it on a deceptively hot piece of aluminum which melted the case and into the hose inside. My HD-300 came with a cloth like shell for its TIG line, which I might switch to because it looks more heat resistant. The connectors for the TIG switch (same as HD-300) and the pedal seem cheap. I try to be careful not to cross thread or otherwise damage those connectors. It looks like the WP-17 torch is only good to 150A so keep that in mind if you plan to max out to 250A.
The high frequency start generally works well.
The current adjustment knob is pretty sensitive or twitchy. It really needs a large knob for such a wide range. It is supposed to max at 250A on AC TIG, but the LED shows 247 as the maximum.
It has been working pretty well for my learning how to weld aluminum sessions so far. I will update after I learn to use the pedal and complete (or fail) the trailer project.
I like this welder and the cost on sale was great. I don't know why it is no longer available.
From a retired pipe welder.
