Top customer reviews
The gloves are ok but the padding collapses with one heavy use. I rode with the gloves for a quick 20 miles when the item first arrived and it did well, but then used again on a 65 mile ride and by the end of the ride the padding had completely collapsed. At least the gloves provide grip and a bit of protection. If you're looking for gloves that help to pad the heel of your hand, keep on looking. These won't last very long (at least not very long for bigger riders).
There are a few gripes I have so far. First is a minor one, those weird silicone "discs" they put on a couple of the fingers are useless. After both of my rides so far, my hands have been sweating, and the gripper discs do not help at all. Sure, you can pull those two fingers up, but the rest of the glove still stuck to my hand. Removing gloves has never been that big an issue to me, I just stick my finger inside and loosen my hand out. These just get in the way when I ride, feels like there's something stuck to my fingers...not sure whey they are on the underside of the gloves. I'll just cut these discs off...
My other concern is with the stickiness of the gloves. In fact, there is some writing on the gloves that says "ultra grip", so they are meant to be a bit tacky. Problem is they stick to my hoods, which makes moving my hands around a bit of a challenge. More than a few times, my bar has moved unexpectedly because my hand stuck when trying to move grip positions. It's a little too grippy for my liking. Maybe after several uses my sweat will break them in and they won't be as sticky, but for now, I have to think about moving my hands instead of just doing it.
Overall, these are good fitting, comfortable gloves, with more good points than bad. Since they are a good price, I'll probably get another pair since most of my other ones are wearing out!
