The ventilated composite Multi Air Flex outsole offers good toe flexion for walking while preventing heel pressure and, combined with the ventilated EVA insole, it ensures through-and-through ventilation that helps prevent overheating. Inside the cup, the HRS-80 retention keeps the heel firmly in place and the hook and loop fastener straps are easy to adjust and provide good support.

Perfect for spin class and off of the advice of past purchasers I got a 41 instead of 39 or 40 what is listed as recommended size for a person who wears 81/2. The size 41 fits perfect! Huge difference in my performance in class! The shoes do make a difference a must buy for spinners out there! Don't forget the clips they do not come with them.

Great spin cycling shoes. As per some of the reviews I went up in size. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and have a narrow foot, the size 40(9) works great for me. It has plenty of room in the toe. I likely could have gone down a size but I’m happy with the extra room. Make sure to order the SPD cleats to go with it as they don’t come with the shoes. I ordered Shimano cleats and they are great with the shoe. Tried them out today and have no complaints.

I normally wear a US 7.5 so I ordered a 39 EU and they fit perfect and are very comfortable! I have worn these to a few spinning classes and I wish I would have bought them sooner. I definitely feel a difference when riding with these shoes. I bought SPD clips to go with them and they were very easy to install. These shoes are also very affordable when compared to similar spinning shoes. Great purchase!!

I looked at so many shoes! The sizing was critical for me because I have a wide foot. I normally wear a women's size 8½ US or 39 European comfort styles. I read all of the Q&A's related to sizing and thought I'd try the 42 in this Garneau. Can't believe I had to go that big, but they fit perfectly!

I'm new to cycling so had to go to YouTube to see how to properly install and fit the cleats. I bought the Shimano SH51 SPD Cleat Set, which are perfect for this shoe.

As someone who reviews almost every product I buy on Amazon I greatly appreciate the good advice I get when reading others' reviews. In this case it saved me a bunch of time and hassle. I am a 5' 6" woman who normally wears an 8.5 in running shoes and street shoes and a 39 in European sized shoes. Based upon the reviews I read I purchased a 41 and they fit - just barely. I don't think I can go up to a 42 but a 39 wouldn't have even been something I could get on my foot.

It's interesting to note that before I wrote this I looked inside the shoe to see what was on the tag. The tag indicates it's a European 41 and a US size 10. That's basically consistent but clearly their whole sizing system is different than what everyone here is used to.

Sizes run small

I wear a size 6.5 - 7 in US sizes. I read review after review and some said the shoe based upon the sizing chart, fit to size. Other reviews said they ran small. I bought my true size (38) based upon the sizing chart available and yes, they were too small. I returned the shoes and bought the next size up a 39. The fit was so much better, and will probably fit better and more comfortable after I break them in. Overall the packaging and the quality of the shoe is great. They are a little narrow but after some use i can tell they will stretch. You can walk off of your bike without feeling like you are going to fall (I wouldn't recommend doing a normal work out with them) but the cleat is flush with the sidewalls making it safe to walk in the Spin Class if need be.

Was pretty nervous ordering cycle shoes without being to try on first but I went by the size chart and they fit perfect. I'm a 7 in shoes and 7.5 in athletic shoes, according to the (7.5US) chart I needed a 39 and they were perfect! I've since taken half a dozen 1+hour rides and they've been great. I do wear an athletic sock with them.
