If you have to limit yourself to a single disc Jordan "best of", this collection is the one to get. It has better selections than the MCA version released in the late 70s. The two disc (and more expensive) "Let the Good Times Roll" collection obviously has more of Jordan's work, but for those just wanting the essential cuts, this collection fits the bill.

I did notice it’s hard to find a few of Louis Jordan’s songs such as t three handed woman and please don’t leave me which I have only been able to listen to them on vinyl I wonder when these two songs will be on cd. The cd collection is missing quite a few songs. It’s up to you if you want to buy it.
