Lovability shares practical advice to guide you in your own journey towards building a lovable business of your own.

While I would agree with other reviewers that the concept is not new -- we all want to be loved -- I am astonished by how few people are willing to open up about it from a business perspective. For this simple fact, Lovability is a breath of fresh air. Such a simple concept that is so often ignored by businesses and product owners for the sake of growth, and other reasons.

Lovability shares with you -- the reader -- a proven approach (along with numerous stories, anecdotes, and examples) for setting yourself down the path that the team at Aha! has successfully navigated. Kudos for sharing the story!

The book is OK, but overly optimistic.

I personally haven't found anything new here, but it resonates of my vision of the world, thus stretched 4 stars.

It looks like only positive sides of the authors approach are enumerated, while all negative or problematic sides are carefully avoided or just briefly mentioned without much details. Usual for such books business examples carefully selected to form a right point of view, so I felt manipulated at times, despite the fact that the author is sincere.

As someone who spent several years working for tech startups, the approach Brian outlines is refreshing and proven with the growing success of his latest company, Aha!. His recommendation to be profit-focused and to lean on paying customers instead of investors may seem obvious, but it is rarely done. The tips and tools shared in Lovability provide an innovative approach to building a business around a "complete product experience" (CPE) to make sustainable growth reality. If you've considered starting a business or launching a product, this is the book to read.

Remember the old saying "Love makes the world go round"? Well, it even applies to business. Brian does such a fantastic job of explaining just how fundamental it is to building a solid and rewarding business, and then provides you the steps to do it too. A must read.

The concept of building a product that people love is not new, but the means by which to achieve that result is often evasive to Product Managers. Let's face it, it's not an easy task. Brian de Haaff has cracked the code and how to achieve these results and have shared it with all us Product Managers so we can all be successful at building lovable products. Thank you, Brian, for your dedication to helping us all build better products and for writing such an outstanding book.

This is thoughtfully presented. I appreciate that it is more than theory and it shows how he built his company. I am interested to see if others adopt some of the methodology.

I really enjoyed the read. Brian writes very clearly and plainly, dispelling a lot of the magic around building a great company, and gets back to the old fashioned basics of caring about your customers, your employees, and having pride in your hard work.

What a great book! As an Operations Manager I was looking for an innovative read on establishing not only a great product, but a great company culture as well and this did not disappoint. Tons of thought on earning love from your customers and employees as well as what makes a complete product experience. I love that this book is very easy to read (not text book style) and that the concepts are easily transferable into many areas of both business and life.

How does a great product idea become an impactful, lasting company? Lovability makes this a simple and approachable task. It's personal, and it's about people -- and a complete journey and product experience.

An important reference for anyone looking to innovate in a growing company and stay true to vision and customer value.
