Sure, lesbians love to bring a U-Haul on the second date. But what happens when the U-Haul crashes?
For Amelia Stone, it’s a literal question as much as a figurative one. When plans to move in with her girlfriend go sideways, she’s left with more questions about their future than answers. It doesn’t help that she’s spending far more time with the paramedic who came to her rescue than the woman she’s supposed to be in love with.
When Finn Douglas responds to a routine traffic accident, the last thing she’s looking for is love. But something about Amelia pulls her in. The more time they spend together, the more it feels like Amelia might be The One. If only Amelia didn’t have her life all planned out with a woman who isn’t Finn.
A Mile High City Romance.

About the Author
Aurora Rey is a college dean by day and award-winning lesbian romance author the rest of the time, except when she’s cooking, baking, riding the tractor, or pining for goats. She grew up in a small town in south Louisiana, daydreaming about New England. She keeps a special place in her heart for the South, especially the food and the ways women are raised to be strong, even if they're taught not to show it. After a brief dalliance with biochemistry, she completed both a BA and an MA in English.
She is the author of the Cape End Romance series and several standalone contemporary lesbian romance novels and novellas. She has been a finalist for the Lambda Literary, RITA®, and Golden Crown Literary Society awards but loves reader feedback the most. She lives in Ithaca, New York, with her dog and whatever wildlife has taken up residence in the pond. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

About the author

Jaime Clevenger loves reading and writing lesbian fiction. She lives with her wife, two kids, two cats and two dogs in Colorado. She works as a veterinarian and spends her free time swimming, hiking and writing (of course). Her perfect day would include a summer rainstorm and a good hug.

I liked Finn right from the get-go, but Amelia I was a bit annoyed with for about half the book. It's hard for me to like a character when they are with an a-hole, as Amelia was. And the fact that she was so willing to move in and ignore all red flags just based on thinking she should take a leap of faith, just made me feel like she was dumb.
The hero of the book was Amelia's grandma. Shout out to Nana!
Overall, there were parts I was into and some that were rocky and hard to believe. I wouldn't say you shouldn't read it, but it was a one and done for me.
I didn’t even realize until a bit into the book that this was set in the same time and place as A Convenient Arrangement, but there was a line where she talked about the cuffing chronicles and I was like “wait a second!”. Then I saw that it was a Mile High City Romance and I checked out a review that talked about how it was a story that we heard a bit about – but expounded. It was and was as cute as I expected it to be.
I love the opening of this being about lesbians loving to move in together quickly – that stereotype, while one, was funny to hear a wlw romance author embrace, but also use to the advantage (or disadvantage) of the reader. Amelia was such a sweetheart – a golden retriever-like woman who was happy helping others. She loves her grandmother and wants to do everything in her power to not end up alone. Finn on the other hand doesn’t want to settle down and seems to have her foot in two places at once. One in Denver and one at home in South Dakota with her family on the family ranch.
Amelia is in an accident and Finn was the paramedic to come to her rescue. Things keep happening after where Finn seems to continuously be in her orbit. I loved the slow-burn part of the book. Especially where they both try and be friends because they really enjoy each other’s company. I will say that I wasn’t in full-on tears/sobbing like I was in the other book in this series, but I was definitely heartbroken for a while. Clevenger and Rey did a great job making me fall in love with both women and wanting nothing but the best for both of them.
Love, Accidentally was fun and enjoyable from beginning to end. I absolutely blew through it with a smile on my face for most of it. Add in Cradens excellent narration and you have another book in this genre that I fell in love with early and couldn’t wait to see how it ended.
Cody Dawson is on track to finally getting tenure at the university but when you have another professor who still thinks a woman's place is home. Now how to show she has a very stable relationship was the real problem. Her main worry is her son, five year old Ben. The idea now was to find someone willing to pretend to be her girl friend without Ben getting too attached.
It just so happens that Jess Archer needs someone to pretend she has a girlfriend who is also into ‘cuffing’. It’s not what you might think, no it’s where two women decide to have a relationship for a short time. Wouldn’t be that bad but Jess’s editor wants her to do a series about ‘cuffing’ for the digital magazine they both work on. Now she’s in the same position as Cody. She doesn’t have a GF, nor does she want one but for a few months she could make believe, at least until her assignment is done.
After Cody and Jess meet they now have the job of pulling off the deception needed for Jess’s assignment and for Cody’s tenure becomes a reality.
Simply put these two authors have given us, the ‘readers’ two really good romances. Very enjoyable read.
