Heartfelt musical romance comedy
on June 9, 2016
British Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) has to decide what to do about a staff member caught in a misconstrued, compromising position with visiting U.S. President (Billy Bob Thornton). Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), child actor, is so convincing as a serious-minded kid confronting adult-like relationship problems. He feels he can't go on without his girlfriend, who is moving back to the U.S. To enhance his appeal, he takes up playing the drums in his school's band. Colin (Kris Marshall), during a 3-week stay in the U.S., has better luck with American women because of his exotic British accent. And in final scene, Jamie (Colin Firth) learns Portuguese so he can propose to his non-English speaking girlfriend, Aurelia.
