I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was just okay for me. It didn't have the 'It' factor to draw me in and keep me there.
Analind is trying to move on from her ex and the life she lived. She wants to pursue her career as a pastry chef. She wants to learn to live again and not stay a hermit.
Rush isn't looking for anything series. One night is all he's ready for. That is until Analind walks into his bar. Then he wants to get to know this beautiful woman who captivates him. But can he capture her?
This book has a lot of potential to be an amazing read. I think it was the writing style that is what kept me from connecting with the book.
There is plenty more to this story, Get your copy today. It's a captivating read!
I received this as an ARC, giving my honest review as required. I honestly loved the book and have read it twice now!
The story and characters have promise and potential. It gets bogged down with minutia not central to the story--this creates the run-on sentences and paragraphs. It also drags down the storytelling.
If the author would have another editor review this and rewrite some of the story, I think it would be great. Best of luck to her. I'll look for more works from this author, possibly try another story. One can be a fluke, and growth, experience and improvements do occur as the author creates more stories.
