Flow and synchronicity are daily occurrences. I feel able to deal with challenging people in more loving way. I have no excuse to stay angry or be annoyed with people because I have the tools from the book to use.
It's such a tiny booklet but great to take on trips and refer to throughout the day to refresh my mind and spirit. I've told all my 'seeker' friends about how this book should be in their library.
If you've reached a plateau with personal development books, workshops and meditative practices, you probably should get this. Love will be your teacher.
John Randolph Price has written a variety of books that combine the ageless wisdom of the East and West with personal experiences. This book is a compilation of his writings on love.
"The Love Book" shows us how we can create a fuller life by achieving mastery over the world of illusion. It is divided into two sections:
Part I: The Power of Love
The Force of Universal Love
All Is Love
The Heart Center of Love
Selected Excerpts on Love
Part II: Loving Relationships
A Story of Healing Love
Circles of Relationships
There Is Only One Relationship
Living with Love
"The Love Book" is explores the concept of love from a unique perspective. The author begins the book by showing how we are love itself and how this love can radiate out to the world.
Chapter four explores selected excerpts on love and also contains a section to boost self-confidence.
Within this chapter you will find a new spin on the 10 Commandments. "Love the Lord your God" does not seem to mean the same thing as "Love the presence of God within you" until you consider that God can live in you and through you and by loving others, you are also loving God. This book will take your mind to a few new places. I finally understand: "I am that I am."
Throughout this tiny book you will find a number of meditations to encourage positive action. You will also find stories of the world's earliest author and an entire chapter of love reminders like this one: "Choose to live in love, with love, as love - and very aspect of your life will change dramatically."
Learning to love in an unconditional way is one of the most difficult and most fulfilling lessons you might ever learn. I'm still learning because this is one of those lifelong lessons. The more I try to love in an unconditional way, the happier I become.
