My heart really broke for Nora. Here she was pretty much alone. Her whole family was killed by shifters. The only one she had was Slade and the HRAF.
In this story you will find there is chaos all around. Money does not seem to have value any more. More items that you would use in your everyday life seems to be what you use to pay for things. Law, well there is no law. People and shifters alike have to defend for them selfs.
Nora is sent to a small town that had has asked shifters to protect them. This town is a shifter friendly town. This is hard to for Nora to understand since she holds so much hatred toward shifters. She is there to get information so the HRAF can take down the shifters.
Ian was this sexy shifter. He bore scares that will ever be with him. I loved how he knew Nora was his the moment he saw her. He lets it be know several times and several different ways.
I loved how protective and possessive Ian was of Nora. Nora will find it hard to stay true to her goal. She will find herself falling each and everyday for Ian. The question is will Ian and his pack forgive him once they find out Nora’s real reason for being there?
