His story telling leaves the heart with a great many things to ponder in each of our own very unique personal travels and sacred discoveries, with this book hitting the mark in abundance! Love, God and the Art of French Cooking not only made me want to cook ..lol, it filled my senses up with the aroma of what a good ol home cooked meal does - that feeling of contentment, togetherness, joy and love!
This book is brillant even if the reader is not one who takes spirituality too seriously ... there is something on the platter that will appeal to everyone's tastes and desires! I found it to be rather refreshing and light, tasteful and true to the very essence and depth that Mr. Twyman was willing to share his inner ingredients for the world to critique ... vulnerability of the heart is not always an easy thing to indulge in particularly when dealing with the essence of past wounds and patterns. Bravo, another book that will help to change the lives of many!!
I also know James, so really, it is a little difficult for me to be totally objective. James has always been an inspiration to me. He is passionate about what he does, and this book expresses that passion and desire to bring something better to the way people view their lives. He is a man who has made a real difference in the world and continues to do so with his writing of Love, God, and the Art of French Cooking. Don't expect recipes for food but you will find some recipes for life itself. James allows himself to be vulnerable in the writing and in doing so allows the reader to see their own. Well done, James.
