Twice Forever - Rachel has cancer but is now in remission but her mom, Jill, having also lost her husband, is still hovering and Rachel is starting to rebel. She works for Grant, a vet who at the beginning I found very prickly and quick to give unasked for advice to Jill. I felt like they both treated Jill a little unfairly but loved the romance.
Devoted to Her Cowboy - Blake comes home to visit and finds out grandma has cancer. Shelby, his high school best friend, works for grandma and has been somewhat taking care of her. Shelby has always liked Blake but Blake was the popular guy who dated Kellie-Jo the popular but annoying girl. Shelby is no longer the nerdy girl but has blossomed. So you know where this story is heading.
Her Angel - (MY FAVORITE!!!!) - Tasia's mom has cancer. Tasia races home to be with her. She has a brother Andrew who along with his wife I didn't care for at first, still don't like the wife. Enter Malcolm, mom's handyman, and this is why Her Angel is my fave. Malcolm is such a great guy who is so caring and kind to Tasia, but not pushy. Loved their story.
This is a great set but even if you just like one, it is well worth the money. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.
It's 3 stories about the love and hope women have a struggles with when they are face whit cancer. Proceeds from sales of this anthology will be donated to Ovarian Cancer Canada.
"Twice and Forever" by Brenda Gayle is a nice story about the unexpected life changes cancer can give a young woman but Brenda Gayle delivers a great story.
"Devoted to Her Cowboy" by C. J. Carmichael I really liked. But I also have something for cowboys. And this story has it all. A good story and a happy ending. I like stories like that.
"Her Angel" by Kayla Perrin is the saddest of the 3 stories and when we deals with cancer this is often than more the outcome. But a nice, well written story.
I received this book as a gift.
