I love that this book is both intellectually and theologically robust, and that it is marked by an attitude of humility and love. Spielman is unashamedly Christian and thinking from a Christian worldview, but even the secular reader will be challenged by the thorough, reasoned apologetic that he offers.
The Christian reader will appreciate that Spielman handles Scripture well and rightly applies biblical truths to the subject of abortion. And perhaps most helpful to me, he tackles head-on the paradox that Christians are perceived as being obsessed with abortion while in reality doing very little to actually answer abortion. He summarizes the odd reality this way:
"We have a church that doesn't care much about abortion, a world that thinks all the church cares about is abortion, and Christians that are starting to believe it -- almost apologizing for a fervor we simply don't have."
If you are going to read one book about abortion, this should be the one. I only wish that it were available in print!

Michael Spielman is one of the best writers in the business. It is the type of read that reads itself to you. If you are familiar with Abort73.com and the resources they provide you know what I mean.
I have been reading pro-life books for years. This one is the best I have ever read in the topic it covers.
What does Christianity look like in a culture that kills its children? Michael answers that question with clarity and creativity. Michael connects the commandments and teachings of Jesus to our own lives as Christians today.
This is not just another pro-life book. This is a must read for all and should be shared widely.
