ForeWord Clarion Review
Four Stars (out of Five)
… This how-to book offers relationship counsel and advice on how to develop meaningful, balanced lives. To emphasize his premise that all living beings are connected with one another and to a loving God, Flynn includes numerous testimonies from people who have witnessed near-death experiences. He believes that everyone has access to guidance and resources from the spiritual realm but asserts, “Our challenge is to learn to ask for them, recognize them and work with them.”
According to Flynn, each person’s spirit decides upon a particular path to explore as it prepares to be reborn in human form. The choices made by the entity during the course of a human lifetime determine the degree of spiritual advancement or regression that occurs. … Some people will continue to chase after material success, while others learn that “the purpose that will bring everything into true focus is to know God on an intimate basis.”
Furthermore, the author believes that we must learn to distinguish the desires of the ego self from the more enlightened options guiding the “true self.” As the ego acts in self-interest, spiritual progress is inhibited …. According to Flynn, “Our true self, however, knows that it is eternal and connected to everyone else.”
Inasmuch as Flynn’s worldview reflects an inclusive universe, he often refers to and quotes from the texts of multiple religions—Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity, to name a few. …[E]ach chapter of the book ends with questions that are aimed at helping readers evaluate their current circumstances and recognize their habitual behavior in relationships. Additional support materials include reference notes, appendices, and a bibliography.
Even those who question the validity of spiritual near-death experiences may find themselves persuaded by the author’s appeal to find a middle ground—one that is based on acceptance and tolerance.

I thank the author for this significant work and the help it will be to those who consider its value in their important life decisions.
Flynn digs considerably beneath the surface, revealing a deeper meaning in the dynamic roles of the sexes. He clarifies everything a participant needs to know in order to develop healthy, meaningful and satisfactory relationships. Flynn's remarkable skill to elucidate inter-relationship concepts and explore the boundaries of men and women are unique.
Two appendices support this advice-filled volume. The first is a glossary; the second, an index. This book is very reminiscent of Johnny Tan's award-winning book, From My Mama's Kitchen. Flynn referenced back to certain elements that provide spiritual insight. Among these, a deep discussion of Near Death Experiences, (NDE), surfaces early in the book. He initially refers to his own NDE and shares how it enlightened him. Flynn proposes that these NDE will guide us through the mazes of personal relationships. These help us restore our faith in intuition and give us foresight and fortitude to deal with the complexities we find ourselves in.
Each chapter deploys a dichotomy that characterizes the essence of key aspects that define who we are and how best to utilize the energy within each of us. The book relies on analysis of the inner self and touches upon our unique ability, as human beings, to tap the vast reservoir of knowledge that lies within each of us. He combs these insights into his content with superlative skill and binds them to our experiences of the world.
Love Life 101 represents informative, direct and insightful information, giving the reader the big picture. The book will leave the reader with a feeling of well-being and tempt him or her to seek out this author again. While this book will enlighten and entertain, it belongs at the head of your reading list.
Daniel Flynn consolidates a wide variety of sources from his years of research into an insightful book that can help each of us understand the relationship we deserve, one that will enhance our life and entice full expression of each partner's full being.
This book is not brain candy entertainment reading. Invest some hours with the book and energetic thoughts will dance with your current concepts of relationships resulting in a healthy vibrant image that can serve as your new standard. This can be used to sort the undesirable relationships that might try to parasite your future happiness, allowing you to uncover and secure the relationship that will feed your true self.
