Two Hearts, One Tour Bus. Is There Room Enough for Love?

Suddenly jobless, Darcy Conti becomes a tour guide for Sturgeon Widows Tours, a quirky family-run business on the shores of Lake Superior. As she settles into her new role narrating local history excursions, she fights an undeniable attraction to the one man she definitely can’t fall for—the owner’s son.

Fresh from a relationship gone sour, Sean Stetman plans to avoid dating—and his job at his parents’ tour company—for the foreseeable future. He wants nothing more than time to fish, hike, and work on his cabin. But when the tour driver quits, he is suddenly back on board, reluctantly shuttling Darcy and the tour guests along the North Shore.

Together, Darcy and Sean survive unruly tourists, meddling mothers, and even an unscrupulous developer looking to give the Stetmans’ tour company some fierce competition. Will their time on the tour bus drive them both crazy, or are they on the road to forever?

Love Like Water is a sweet, small-town romance with memorable characters, plenty of laughs, and a satisfying happily ever after. Start reading today!

This book displays excellent writing abilities. The characters are witty, the owners of two dogs who become partners in crime, and about as confused about their feelings as any two people can be. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about their antics right up to the very surprise ending! 🙂

This is a clean romance both sexually and in language. it’s not a Christian book but I don’t recall reading anything that would offend a believer i gave four stars instead of five because of the failure to comm plot twist is so easily remedied that it doesn’t seem like a true impediment to their relationship .

This was the most agonizingly SLOW book I think I've ever made it through. I loved the premise and the cover was funky and cute but this thing needed a caffeine shot to the butt!

I wanted to love the story between Darci and Sean. She was a local transplant looking to grow some roots and he was a big grump who got hims feewings hurt by a previous girlfriend. Despite the fact that this trope should've worked, it didn't. Sean and Darcy had ZERO chemistry. I almost started to believe they weren't the ones who would even get together when I approached (then surpassed) the 50% mark and they hadn't even gone on a date yet! Not to mention another character's appearance had me confused as to where Darci's heart would go.

Sean was not a great hero. He was petulant, grouchy and seriously brooding and not in the good way. He was too stiff in his ways. I still don't know if he even liked Darci! Darci was more giving and pliable but Sean was written way too gruff with no pliability or inkling he would give until the blasted end!

But... for some reason I kept reading. Call it morbid curiosity to see how things ended for them after painfully slogging through or maybe it was the quaint charm of the small town surroundings and secondary characters that kept my interest. Could've been the authors poetic writing style. Whatever it is, I hope she loosens up her future Hero's because this one left a bad taste.

This charming story will enchant anyone with a love for Wisconsin and its beautiful, hidden villages. The pacing is perfect and we get caught up in the romance between the two main characters almost immediately. I honestly think this book could be used as a case study in how to structure a romance novel with its major and minor characters (the "villain" is not really that bad) and love scenes. D.E. Malone's writing is a pleasure to read.
