Ben and Meeko had palpable chemistry and were both intriguing characters. The sex was electric, but there wasn't a lot of it. Normally, I would say that I preferred more, but this book didn't need it. It kept me glued to the page and firmly in the head of whichever MC we were exploring at the time.
The gangster-like (for my lack of a better term) plot line wasn't always realistic (for example, if someone is possibly being watched, you wouldn't necessarily have a private conversation just anywhere), but then again, Meeko's decisions weren't always realistic either. That was part of his character.
This was my first book by this author, and was extremely well-written with no editing issues that popped out at me. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
PS...I LOVE the name Vandie as a shortening of Lavender, though my first thought was "Vaaaaaangie". Some people will get the reference. :)

Ben takes Mika under his wing to work in his garage. He's always been smitten with the young Mika, and continues to be so, now he thinking he's "sex on a stick, with a side of cream cheese." Mika, meanwhile, has been trying to impress Ben, but thinks that Ben doesn't even see him.
Ben however, has no idea that Mika has been forced into working for him by a gang leader. He is currently stripping cars and isn't being allowed to stop doing so.
Mika is one of the most beautiful broken men ever. His whole life has been one tragedy after another, taking all of the hits quietly, without complaint. He is being controlled completely by Teegan, a childhood friend, who now controls his gang.
Ben, meanwhile, is also a broken man, having lost his brother, Rick, to the streets several years ago. He is now making his niece his main priority, trying to save at least a part of his brother.
When Ben realizes that Mika is in some serious trouble, he steps in, demanding to know what is going on, so he can help. From them on, despite great intentions, the bad guys keep getting the upper hand. While their relationship will not be an easy one, in the end it is absolutely beautiful!
Love It Like You Stole It is a gripping, emotional ride and I highly recommend you treat yourself by picking up a copy.
I Loved to Love it Like You Stole It!
This story was very reminiscent of gone in 60 seconds with all the thrills, crime bosses, and Cars that my little grease monkey heart could handle!
and the love story between Ben and Meeko (aka Micheal was sweet SUPER sexy and just so amazingly done!)
it was faced paced the characters where amazingly done and I loved them all even the side characters like Lavander whose name alone made me like her and her sassy personality made me love her!
Overall it is more than safe to say that this was another hit from Nine Star Press
This book was unexpected and my first from Ki Brightly but it won’t be my last. Great style, great characters, great book!
