Great love story about Emma and Jake, both had a not an easy childhood. You learn about Emma's live also through her special friends Pete, Missy and Ben, about their hometown and the history they have together. This special friendship gives the story much more than only the love story. The support she gets from her friends and her Gramps is one that you cherish in your heart.
This is not an easy love story lots of up and downs between them so it keeps you captured. So take a seat, relax, maybe take a glass of wine and enjoy this great love story.
This is a story that I will re-read in the future. Can't wait for the next story about Holly and Pete in Work like you don't need the money, hopefully it will come out soon!!

I have this book as part of the boxed set 1-3.
I'm not sure I'll ever read more of this set, not because the story is bad, but because the lack of editing is so glaring. Read more

Could have been a great book but Emma is a whiny, insufferable twit! Jack fell head over heels way too fast and put up with her ridiculous insecurities too much. Read morePublished 1 month ago by GMS
