- "When I bought the book from a local store I told myself that I would read a little of it each night...that didn't work; I couldn't put the book down! I read it until I was finished. I wanted to see what would happen to Jenny next. I can't wait to read other books from this author." L. Turnquest
- "My short response to this book is that it is a lovely... It is the kind of story I would like to see developed into a film script. I find the book principled without being preachy, another balancing act that is not always easy to achieve." Patrice Francis
- "Last year during a visit to Long Island, I was informed that you and your husband donated two books to the Long Island Community Library. I normally enjoy reading books by Bahamian Authors and felt compelled to read your books. My day for departure was fast approaching and I was only able to read Love on Maruba Island. This book is well written and transforms the reader into a place of vast imaginary heights, as you the individual are able to put faces and structure to each character. I truly enjoyed this book.
- This book was a multifaceted emotional and spiritual world-wind, full of hopes and dreams that far surpass the human imagination." Leslie Taylor
