When John Mueller goes west to teach school in a small town in Texas, he wasn’t looking for another wife. But his 5 year old daughter has other thoughts. And meeting and liking Mae Stafford stirred thoughts up in LillyAnn’s mind. She wanted Mae for a mom, and she wasn’t shy about letting everyone know.
I enjoyed this sweet romance between John and Mae, and I just love LillyAnn. She is such a sweet child, and I love that she speaks her mind, even though sometimes its embarrassing. Author Jodie Wolfe does a fantastic job of keeping my interest, and the interest of the readers with the humor, tension, and tender feelings in this story. And it is not a long book, so if you love the novella’s, this one is for you! I highly recommend this book for your entertainment and enjoyment. I do wish I had read the first book in this series, but it is great as a stand along. I will be checking the other books in this series and from this author.

Both Johannes and Mae were incredibly well developed and easy to connect with. I thoroughly enjoyed the way the relationship between them progressed. They started as acquaintances and then with the help of LillyAnn they spent time together and got to know each other.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I will definitely be reading everything else she writes.

"Love In The Seams" by Jodie Wolfe is an excellent title for this book because Mae Stafford does sew her love into the seams of the garments that she sews for five year old LillyAnn.
LillyAnn wants a mom so bad and Mae wants a family but are they supposed to be each other's answer to their dreams.
LillyAnn is the new teacher's daughter and I really love the way she plans to get her dad and Mae to together, because Mae is her best friend. I also love her mispronunciation of words, they make for a few out loud laughs.
I am hoping there are more stories in the (Twins & Needles series). These two books are the only ones I have read but am really looking forward to read more by Jodie Wolfe.
These two books were a nice escape from "real life" for a couple of hours. I was able to read both books in a couple of hours ( on different days, but I am a fast reader.)
I encourage readers of clean romances and readers who likes children as a main character to read "Love In The Seams". I think that when you closed the book you will be saying What a great set of characters, I want to enter into their world again.
I am giving "Love In The Streams" by Jodie Wolfe five stars.
