This is my third Todd Foley book and it was just as good as "Eastbound Sailing" and "Charades!" Todd does a great job of having surprising endings in each of his tales, and this one didn't disappoint. I read the whole thing through without taking a break - I was so eager to know what was going to happen! It felt like watching "Love Actually" where I was dying to see how people's stories intersected. Every part brought a new depth to the story. Highly recommend!

A twisted love story meets Pulp Fiction set in Los Angeles

I love great stories that are twisted. This story does not disappoint! I love how author Todd Foley weaves the story of so many different characters together. If you like romantic movies, you'll like this. If you like twisted thrillers, you'll like this. If you like Pulp Fiction, well, you'll LOVE this. So well done. I can't recommend this book highly enough!

An intriguing and real look at different takes on love

This was a quick read, which was good since once you start you want to keep going. While the book looked at different relationships, at different stages and under different circumstances, Todd Foley managed to connect each one in ways you didn’t always see coming. If you enjoy a little realism mixed with touches of darkness and humor, you will want to read this book.

You are immediately drawn in, a most intriguing page turner. Foley’s characters are so real you instantly connect with them. From a unexpected and long lived romance to a happy go lucky wife with dealing with the ultimate betrayal, this book has it all. A very easy read that you can devour in one sitting. Foley’s inspirations with city and love are constant throughout the book, you almost feel like you are there in Los Angeles.

Great connection of stories

Incredibly entertaining collection of short stories. A quick read (easy to binge) that is quite moving and allows the reader to get to know a variety of characters with many different points of view. Foley connects the stories in way that are both surprising and interesting and he features a great way to experience the stories with a music playlist.

I love getting lost in a story, and even more than that, I love being surprised. Todd Foley does it again, weaving an incredibly interesting story that left me completely shocked and delighted! I love the unpredictable plot and the weaving together of so many stories. It’s like Love Actually, where you want to know how everyone fits together but you can appreciate and marvel at each individual story. I highly recommend this book for a breathtaking journey through so many versions of love!
