The descriptions of the restoration work and historical aspects of the house got to be a bit much for me sometimes, but the descriptions of the food made my mouth water!
So lovely to read an actual love story and not just a romantic attraction story. I will definitely be checking out her other books.

If you haven't read Lisa Norato's other books, I urge you to do so. Like her heroine, Jamie, Ms. Norato is
a perfectionist. She makes her characters and plot believable and entertaining and works hard to get the details right.
Lisa Norato is a great story-teller. Her descriptive style of writing lets you clearly picture the story she is telling. I am so happy that there will be more books in this series. I can’t wait to read them all.
characters are just as interesting as the main ones! And the food scenes are terrific! Highly recommend this great summer book.
