I was given a review copy by Moody Publishers in exchange for a fair and honest review.
No matter your work history, there will come a time that some type of change will have to be made. Love Your Work divides these changes into four quadrants: reinvent, revector, repurpose, renew. Each one is well explained and Robert Dickie III does a good job of showing how to tell where you are. Finding which one applies helps you make plans for what to do next.
The book seems to be geared towards a corporate environment, and jobs where you have plenty of opportunities for advancement. However, the advice applies to all workers, even freelancers and small business employees.
The book is clear that you need to take stock of yourself, including your God-given talents, so that you do the work your are designed to do. Tips on doing this, and places to hone your skills for little or no cost are included.
Love Your Work is easy to read, and since I am currently facing exactly what the book is about, I found it extremely informative. I believe it would benefit any worker, whether you are facing a change or not.
I received a free copy of this book from Moody Publishers in exchange for this honest review.
