I bought 2 of these for my 2 Raspberry Pi 3B's to replace cell phone chargers that I have been using. I wanted something with an on/off switch. They work, but I still get occasional low voltage warnings. The biggest issue I have with these is the on/off switches. When they are on, if the button is just barely touched, it will immediately reboot your pi. So if you are connected to a breadboard and are moving around your project, you have to be super careful not to touch or let anything touch the on/off switch. I probably wouldn't buy again, I would buy ones with a rocker style switch and not this push button style.

This is a review of the LoveRPi 2018 5V 2.5A Certified Micro USB Power Supply Adapter.

I purchased this to be used with an Xbox Battery Charger which operates off a typical micro usb cable. Once the batteries would be charged, we would have to unplug the charger until we wanted to use this again. This avoids us trying to unplug the cord from behind a couch and is very convenient.

Note – A typical smartphone charger are typically only 2amps. This would be well suited to charge just about all your normal 5V normal powered Micro USB devices.

Pros
The switch is located at the micro USB end vs. the plug end making it easy to get to and use.
The switch has a blue led which will show if power is on or off.
The power adapter for the wall has a green led to show if power is on or off where the plug is connected.
Has protection built in such as over temperature and over current.
Power output is noted to be in specs +-5%.
Cable is 3.5’ long. Long enough to reach where I need to plug devices in yet not long enough to make a cable mess.

Cons
None so far and as with all my reviews, I will update this should this develop any issues.

Sorry to report I am not using this for what it was intended, but super happy with its performance in powering my 5V micro USB devices.

I run a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with a 7" touchscreen and a couple instruments (BitScope oscilloscope, USB microscope, wireless keyboard, Speaker pHAT from Pimoroni ) and was running into the low voltage warnings that this adapter was made for (I believe because of the screen, not the other stuff). I also needed a power switch but didn't even realize this had one until after I ordered it which was a pleasant surprise. Sure enough, the low voltage warning went away with this adapter. I suspect that the low voltage also caused some crackling with the Speaker pHAT, because it would happen whenever the yellow bolt would show up on screen, and it's not crackling anymore.

I am using this power supply adapter to power the Pi 7" touchscreen, rather than use the jumper wires to power BOTH 'Pi and the touchscreen from a single power supply. The LoveRPi supply has two great things going for it that the other power supply doesn't: It has an LED indicator lamp when it is "on" at the wall, AND there is an on-and-off switch that goes between the supply and the microUSB port of the adapter board. The people at LoveRPi obviously thought this one through.The switch allows me to shut off the screen without having to unplug it from the wall to do so. I'm planning on using THIS supply for my future Raspberry Pi projects because of how convenient it makes things.

I had a voltage issue and the seller really went above and beyond to test and figure out what the problem was.

I was receiving a low voltage warning when using the PS with the official 7" touchscreen on. Pi3. While the instructions with the touchscreen say to power the touchscreen and let the jumpers power the Pi3 in reality it works better the opposite, powering the Pi3 with the PS and letting the jumper cables power the display. Once I did that as they suggested all the issues went away!

Having the including on/off switch is very nice. I highly recommend this set, and if you have any problems contact the seller who is very responsive and helpful!
