MicroSD card has multiple partitions. The boot partition is ~100MB and the operating system partition is hidden in Windows. To see it, run diskmgmt.msc.

This product is great right out of the box. If you have never used one there are fantastic youtube videos on what/how to use them. I am using mine as retro gaming machine. I have added retropie to the unit. My children, friends, and I have already put in a lot of hours playing games from my childhood. If you are going to use retro pie on this and you have a lot of xbox 360 controllers get the wireless adapter and u can then use 4 controllers with one. I am also using it to run kodi and it does a phenomenal job running that program as well.

This went above and beyond my expectations. I am an aspiring computer programmer and this little thing came with more than I expected. If you are looking to learn more about computer programming this is the kit for you. But if you are interested in the hardware aspect of computers, gaming or enlarged data space (more space on the SD card) you should by the board, and a better charger and SD card (pre-flashed if you are new to all of this (like me!)) separately. I bought this to drive a DIY Dakboard monitor - digital signage for your home, does some of the info organization stuff Echo Show and Home Hub SHOULD do but don't (yet).

Assembly and config were easy, and Raspian is pre-installed on the memory card. I managed to break it by shutting it off during an update, but after reloading the SD card I was back in business. No instructions, so I had to look up what to do with the heat sinks.

With Raspian on the card, it took just a few minutes to get this up and running. Buying another to run a file server.

Great starter kit, was very easy to get up and running. However, I did have an issue with the included power supply. I would get an almost constant under voltage warning. I tested the voltage and it was putting out less than my phone charger that was rated 5v:1a. So I contacted LoveRPi and explained what was happening and they sent a replacement PSU. The new PSU runs great, haven't had an under voltage warning all day.

Two stars off for having the issue, one star regained for fast and considerate service.

Does not display correctly on my computer monitor and no info on how to set screen resolution to something different. No info on what to do with the two heat sinks that are included. If you are concerned about an issue, you may want to consider a kit without a card (and supply your own) or look to see if others are having the same issue from this seller.

Original Review (5 Stars): I bought this kit to be used as a RetroPie station and bring back some of my childhood memories and make it easier to play some of the games I have tucked away. It had almost everything I needed to get started, but I did end up buying a case for more protection. I'm not very experienced with this sort of stuff but it really couldn't have been much easier. Tutorials are easy to find and everything was pretty straight forward. Each of the components actually worked the way they were supposed to which is becoming harder and harder to find (like the controllers I also bought to go along with this... I'm not bitter or anything though). Everything came in a small box and was conveniently packaged to avoid damage. I would recommend it to anyone just starting out and wanting to have some fun.
