It's a very comprehensive history of the Cessna L-19 and as an owner of one has been very helpful in understanding its history.

if you have an interest in light aircraft and a friend who flew one of these under fire in Vietnam then you really should read the history of these great aircraft.

I bought two copies back when it was first published, one for my dad who was a Birddog pilot for the Army in Korea during the war, and one for me. I flew the O-1 in Vietnam for the 221st Shotguns. This book is, in my opinion, the Birddog Bible for history buffs. In the production sheets included, I found my dad's Birddog and I found mine. It came off the line on my exact 4th birthday in 1952! Wonderful book.

I recently wrote about my experiences in the O-1 during Vietnam. Delta Shotgun is available here on Amazon.
