Renee has written a completely wild, passionate and heart stopping story-line. Her plot has so many twists and turns your never quite sure where you will come out. The characters have become much more complex then in “Night's Beauty the Prologue.”
Raven is back at her job at the coffee shop thinking of Magnus. If he would try to look for her or not. The owner, Gertie, and a customer, Owen, gave Raven a hard time about the man Raven had found or rather had found her.
Raven had sat down with Owen for some comfort and conversation. Gertie was interrupting once and awhile. Rave had an eerie feeling that Gertie and Owen knew more than they were saying and when did Owen know Raven's mother? Thinks weren't making sense.
In the mean time Magnus had found Raven's name tag from her place of employment. Magnus was ecstatic he could track her down now. And track her down he did. Magus showed up at the coffee shop and talked Raven into a date after work.
While Raven was waiting outside for Magnus to show up she thought she saw something move up high on the building. Maybe not Raven thought. But then something caught her eye again and she did see it move. It looked like a mirage and it was moving down the building. The mirage stopped about the 4th and 5th story. Raven heard Magnus' bike so she started running towards him.
All of a sudden white and blue frost started to swirl, there was a large growl and Raven looked to see the mirage jump off the building and soar towards her. As it soared it began to shift into something solid. It had dingy fur, a muzzle full of fangs and it landed on top of a taxi.
The monster crushed everything in it's way. As it stepped off the taxi Raven noticed it had short rear legs, powerful knuckles like a gorilla and stood 15 feet tall with red eyes glowing above a wolf muzzle.
Raven screamed as the monster crashed to the ground in front of them.
The magnitude of Renee's writing knows no bounds. She is an awesome Author with a vivid imagination that makes this all work.
I left so much unsaid and some of the most awesome is to come. Hurry and get a copy, you won't regret it.
I was given a copy for an honest review.
